Originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota, Caitlin Jagodzinski melds an inherent passion for the arts with a strong desire to better connect audiences with, and advocate for, provocative and transformational art experiences. Prior to joining The Silverman Group, Caitlin was Public Relations Coordinator at Maccabee Public Relations in Minneapolis, providing media relations, event marketing, social media and corporate communications services to regional and national clients including Gold’n Plump and Kemps. Caitlin also has a strong background supporting and promoting the performing arts, starting her career first as a Digital Media and Marketing Intern, and then Individual Giving Associate, with Children’s Theatre Company (CTC) in Minneapolis. In addition to creating e-marketing, social media and web strategies for CTC’s development department, Caitlin led marketing and event strategy for Children’s Theatre Company’s annual fundraising and donor cultivation events and assisted with TV spots and photo shoots for CTC productions. Before that, Caitlin handled content creation and social media marketing as an intern with English Touring Theatre in London, England.
A graduate of the University of Minnesota with a BA in Public Relations, Caitlin studied art criticism and publicity under the tutelage of Minneapolis’ top dance critics and PR pros including work with ABT II and Paul Taylor Dance Company. Outside the office, Caitlin can be found taking dance classes and exploring the many theater, comedy, music and dance performances throughout the great city of Chicago.
